This restaurant has the best Turkish food in Kansas, and honestly, in the entire Midwest! The authentic atmosphere, music, and the warm welcome from the staff every time is just amazing. Once you go, you’ll want to keep coming back! I try something new each time I visit. The appetizers are outstanding, and I’m pretty sure they must be picking the seasonal veggies from their own garden—10/10! I’ve never had better köfte(meatball), and now that I’m writing this, I’m craving to go back again! These guys are the best!

Amazing food and drinks!!! I was pleasantly surprised of how good everything was. The menu was more than what was posted on the website. My friend and I tried the appetizer board and I would recommend it to everyone! Thomas the bartender was a hoot and drinks were right on point. Can't say enough about the fabulous Short Ribs and roasted veggies. I'm excited to go back and try more of their yummy food! Try it ...you will not be disappointed!!

Such a wonderful experience. Our server, Zoey, was fantastic. The food was fantastic. The location was fantastic. We went early (5ish) and sat close to the bar. Such a cozy, wonderful place. We also spent time and swapped stories with the owner. If I am ever in turkey again, I will absolutely check out the second location. My parter is vegetarian and there were plenty of options. I absolutely recommend trying the meze sampler to start.

A friend invited me to this spot for brunch and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us. The food selection was top notch, everything felt so fresh and organic. The owner even came by our table to check in and shared his story, which was truly inspiring. I’ve already recommended this place to anyone looking for beautifully crafted dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Definitely planning to come back!

I really enjoyed trying their neareastern cuisine. We ordered the 6 messes, short ribs, and basque cheesecake, and thoroughly enjoyed the messes and short ribs. Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We didn't have as much luck with the cheesecake. We ordered it to go and waited more than 25 minutes for it. It just had to be cut and put in a container so not sure what happened there. The previous time we came here we were ignored by the host for 10 minutes without explanation, so our experience with service was a mixed bag. Cool atmosphere- good music, unique architecture, and adorable goldfish in the bathtub. Some people may have qualms with the pipes that dripped condensation on our table, but I doubt this is a problem on a cooler day. Portion sizes are not huge relative to price but the food was savory and delicious and felt worth it. All in all- definitely would encourage anyone to give this place a try.

I absolutely loved this quaint Turkish restaurant…from the friendly owner to the phenomenal bartender, Clay & Fire knows the true meaning of hospitality. The food was light yet filling and sooo flavorful. Order a lot and share with the table because you don’t want to miss out on any of their delicious offerings! An absolute must try! We made a day trip to KC to try this place & so happy we did! From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, everything was top tier! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town, next. Everything was incredible — we got the grandmas pizza, short ribs, and guajillo hummus + beers. Absolutely no complaints about anything; but the hummus was out of this world! If I didn’t live 2+ hours away, I’d be ordering it weekly. The pita that is served with it is so warm and perfectly chewy — such a wonderful, comforting taste. Our server, Zoe, I believe her name was, was super kind & we really enjoyed her service! She was just excellent! The patio/porch was beautiful, and we loved the cozy atmosphere! Definitely recommend sitting out there when the weather is nice. Thanks so much for a great time!

One of the coolest dining experiences! Food was incredible! Owner and bartender were lovely! Best hummus I’ve ever had! And the vibes was incredible! If I’m ever back in KC, this will be my first stop!
